Without a paddle

As Irish Water plans a massive sewage plant that will empty into Dublin Bay, off Ireland’s Eye, experts make the case for a total rethink on our relationship with sewage. Instead of dumping the nutrient rich effluent into our inland and coastal waters, where it upsets the delicate marine balance, the nutrients can be harvested and reintroduced into the land to enrich the soil and close the natural food cycle.

This documentary explains that our current policy aims to make sewage less problematic whereas, rather than being a problem, it could be the key to a climate action solution.
