TVIE is a community television channel, serving Ireland’s society – from preserving the country’s history and heritage, to celebrating the newer members of the Irish social family. Irish people are no strangers to emigration. We are to be found in every corner of the world, where we have made significant contributions to many nations, while continuing to celebrate our own rich culture. It is for this reason that we are able to empathise with those arriving on our shores, hoping to do likewise in this country.
TVIE is based at the Drogheda studio of EurAV European Audio Visual CLG. We welcome suitable content for broadcast on this channel, we create new content and we provide training to communities in community media production so that more voices can be heard on the Irish media landscape.
