Episode 1 – Meet the contestants
As the corona virus COVID 19 swept across the world, Europe went into lockdown. Film maker Declan Cassidy, a graduate of Trinity College Dublin’s Italian department, was reminded of Boccaccio’s 14th century bubonic plague related masterpiece The Decameron. He decided to try a modern day version as creatives were hard hit by the isolation and were willing to work together over Zoom video conferencing. The 10 part series ‘DeCameraOn’ was born. This is the first episode.
